I'm not so into things that I know all the timelines by heart, but wasn't that Darth Vader some time between episodes 3 and 4? I guess I'm a little confused because wasn't the Old Republic set way before the movies?

I've played Kotor and it was a nice diversion, but I don't think I'd play an MMO based on it. I'm not particularly fond of bioware's story telling abilities and this is their first mmo so I'm not sure how the mechanics and gameplay will turn out.

Of course I'm not playing any online games right now, so maybe I've gotten a bit jaded.

It wasn't Vader. This is all still in the distant past from the movies. Events are set some time after the KOTOR games, beginning of the Second Sith War imo.

oh ok, thanks, that's what I thought.

You have to admit, that guy looks a **LOT** like a Vader in between the end of Ep 3 and start of the second trilogy (bottom half of Vader mask and seriously scarred visible head, all black, the electronics on his chest, obviously extremely powerful, cape, red saber......etc etc)

Well i said it earlier il say it again...Looking at the fighters and the star ships.. it looks as if it was after the movies...the desigh of the fighters seem to be very very simular as of those in the clone wars era.. The crashed transport looks like a clone drop ship from Attak of the clones and the Sith Detroyer is almost identical to the Imperial Destroyer.. Armor of the one of the Jedi looks as if it was the armor from Force unleashed Jedi General(Forgot his name..first boss)

Most liekly you are correct its is way before the Rise of the empire..but i find it silly that 4000 years techology is identical.. Even in KotoR 1 and 2 the ships were much different (Besides ebon hawk and the Half Dead Sith Super destroyer)
